As the curtains draw close on another year of weddings, as always, I find myself reminiscing about the incredible weddings I have been lucky enough to capture. This year has been a whirlwind of emotions, creativity, and alternative love, and I’m thrilled to share some of the highlights with you. From intimate elopements against the backdrop of the iconic London skylines to vibrant ceremonies in hidden gems across the UK, each wedding has been a unique celebration of the diversity in the world of Weddings. From gothic-chic ceremonies to super stylin’ London bangers, every wedding has been a testament to the beauty of embracing individuality. Never the same….ever!
YOUR WEDDING. YOUR WAY!
Purposely limiting the number of weddings I capture has really allowed me to immerse myself this past year. Immerse myself in every couple personalities and individuality. No formula or box ticking in my approach, just an open mind and itchy trigger finger, collaborating with couples who trust me and my creative approach. My couples don’t want their weddings to be boring or cookie cutter…so why would they want their wedding photography to be anything BUT! something that breaks the mould.
LONDON MY INSPIRATION
I have shot some amazing locations all over the UK this year, from Tom and Cara’s amazing Tipi Wedding in The Dales to Kate + Patricks ethereal day in Devon at the wonderful Anran. But as an alternative wedding photographer who spends a lot of time in the dynamic London wedding scene I am always looking for the alternative viewpoint. Ready to react to the unpredictable and capture you and your guests personalities and the moments the iphones will miss. My love of Documentary photography and the juxtaposition of historic architecture mixed with the light and lines of a modern urban settings will always be my inspiration and hopefully give my work that “un wedding”, contemporary edge that traditionally wedding photography lacks.
