I first met Gary over 15 years ago. Both just months into a life changing move into wedding photography and not knowing anybody else in the industry. We wanted to do things differently, switch things up. Maybe 15 years later we have…who knows.

We have kept in touch ever since. Our joint interest in street photography making sure we have always admired each others work BUT I hadn’t seen Gary since way before the pandemic so shooting his wedding was a lovely way to catch up and meet his new extended family.

Gary was always the South to my North so a Riverside Boozer and London knees up was a perfect fit and meeting Katie and her family and all their friends was lovely.

We got lucky with the tide and apart from a bit of dramatic and well timed spray we kept dry and caught the end of day sunshine and although everyone kept kindly asking if it was a lot of pressure shooting a fellow pros wedding, I can honestly say it wasn’t as G+K totally trusted me to do my thing.
