The Willow Marsh Farm is an elegant and characterful boutique events space perfect for long weekend weddings. Located in the rural East Midlands on the borders of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire its a wedding photographers dream of stylish interiors, beautiful light and texture and wonderful surroundings.
This working farm sits within 160 acres of pasture, lakes and vibrant wild marshes that make for a truly unique setting.
WILLOW MARSH FARM – COUNTRYSIDE CHIC AND STYLE
Simon & Sarah the farming family owners loving built Willow Marsh Farm in their own vision after searching but failing to find their own dream venue.
After getting engaged in 2015 they learnt that exclusivity was rare and wanted to create something that did not exist. What happened next started out as a dream sketched into a notepad and from the rubble of old farm buildings they created something very special.
As a Wedding Photographer who has been lucky enough to work at Willow Marsh Farm and experience the attention to detail, stylish surroundings and wonderful personal service offered by Simon & Sarah I can highly recommend it as a perfect exclusive use venue.
Waking up with the memories of your day but with the silence of the marshes will be one of the most magical moments of your Willow Marsh experience. Panoramic views of the lake and the sound of the geese overhead is all part of your stay in.
The farm is available to hire over a three day period. The weekend use of the farm starts at 4pm on Friday and concludes at 11am on Sunday. The midweek hire runs from 4pm on Wednesday to 11am on Friday.
Hire include the exclusive use of the Estate land, Grand Barn, The Parlour and the Stables across your stay.
THE CEREMONY
WHERE TO GET HITCHED AT Willow Marsh Farm
The Grand Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies. Built as the farm’s winter machinery barn it has a large open area perfect for intimate ceremonies and an evening spent dancing the night away.
The barn can accommodate up to 120 seated guests for dining. Couples can choose between wooden benches or cross back chairs to use with our hand made banqueting tables. We can also cater for a further 60 evening guests.
The barn is a labyrinth of cosy corners and lounges for intimate chats and alternative dining options. The barn is tastefully decorated with period furniture and vintage lighting to create a timeless ambience and a perfect backdrop for Willow Marsh Wedding Photography.
ACCOMMODATION
GETTING READY – WEDDINGS AT WILLOW MARSH FARM
The estate benefits from two onsite properties. The farms former milking Parlour has been transformed into a bridal suite and preparation space with three double bedrooms. Willow Marsh Farm cottage offers three further double bedrooms and dining and entertainment space for all your overnight guests.
