A Wedding At The Amazingly Alternative Voewood

I have wanted to photograph a Wedding at Voewood for what seems like forever. I have been a professional wedding photographer long enough to have a secret wish list of “yet to shoot” venues that I think will suit my alternative style and approach perfectly and Voewood in Norfolk was definitely towards the top of that list. All I needed was an awesome couple to invite me along..and couples don’t come more awesome than Rosie + Nathan.

Wedding venues full of personality are my favourite. Bonkers, brilliant backdrops to weddings that are as relaxed and quirky as the couples who choose to get married there. I have been lucky enough to shoot nearly all the quirkiest wedding venues in the UK so was delighted to finally be a Voewood wedding photographer.

The Wedding Day

I actually stayed with Rosie and Nathan the night before the big day and had a few beers and a catch up with Rosie, Nathan and all the family who I last met at Nathans Sisters Wedding. The morning of the big day was super relaxed and fun and even though the weather couldn’t make its mind up..we dared and we won with the outdoor ceremony. And when the Sun finally showed itself it stayed for the rest of the day!

Every where you turn at Voewood you find great light and quirky backdrops. Its a creatives play ground and such a great party venue. A wedding photographers dream!

What a day, what a couple and what a venue. I cant thank Rosie, Nathan and all their awesome friends and family for making me feel so bloody welcome. Wedding photography at amazing places like Voewood is made all the more special when its capturing people like Rosie + Nathan. LOVE you guys x
