Teresa + Ash // Cumbria // Hidden River Cabins

A pretty long trek up North the day before Teresa + Ash’s wedding was made all the more easy with a welcoming cold beer and an immediate buddy up with Teresa’s lovely daughter Ophelia who announced me as not only photographer BUT also Page Boy for the following big day!

I LOVE bringing my couples friends and family into what I capture. Whether that be through the eyes of little ones like Ophelia, or the party hard Irish Aunties or even party harder, bare chested, tie around the head sporting Ushers….

They all count and they all matter and they all make up the story and the energy of the day!

The weather typically couldn’t make its mind up!! BUT held for the beautiful outdoor ceremony and still gave us time to grab some shots by the stunning river as well as “breaking into” an abandoned barn! Couples who keep smiling through the drizzle and follow me into the least obvious of portrait locations make my heart sing!!!
