Modern Cotswold Wedding Photography at Hyde House

Wedding photography in The Cotswolds promises beautiful countryside and traditional settings that can, in the main, produce traditional and “nice” wedding photography. BUT me and my couples want to add a more modern element. Me by my style of more alternative wedding photography and my couples with their style and personality adding a more alternative and modern twist to the tradition of The Cotswolds.

Pete and Emma nailed this. They chose a venue that offered all that Cotswold charm but had added modern elements including Hyde Houses stunning new ceremony space. Emma’s beautiful modern dress worked wonderfully alongside Pete and his Groomsmen sharp and stylish Tuxedo’s and more traditional entertainment was contrasted alongside a surprise Brass Band knocking out dancefloor classics and hip hop. All in all a wonderful day full of love, laughter, emotion and style.

The Wedding Day

Hyde house offers a humongous, light filled bridal room where Emma and all her Bridesmaids and family could relax and get ready. I flitted between here and Pete, his mates and little Ted (Emma and Pete’s son) making for a super relaxed and fun pre ceremony. Pete’s reaction as Emma and Ted entered the ceremony was an emotional one and even throughout the subsequent rinsing during the speeches he remained full of pride and happiness all day long. A faultless day ended in style by the awesome lads of Backchat brass who never fail to up the energy and audience participation as day turns into night…a wedding photographers dream! Thanks again boys.
