marcus + roupa // the criterion

As I write these little synopses I know the next people to read them and to see the images which follow will be the bride and groom. It’s a little bitter sweet as it also means that my time and involvement is coming to an end.

In a way I attend every wedding twice. Once on the day itself and secondly weeks later as I revisit all the joy and madness as I sort, process and piece together my images into the story of the day.

I’m a lucky chap…I got to attend Marcus and Roupa’s crazy, amazing day not only once BUT twice!

The love, the laughter, the colour, the TWO ceremonies, the THREE dresses, the venue,  the build up, the quieter moments, the crazy moments, the sheer joy, the samba…and the twerking…..not once but twice!

So my work here is done. M&R it’s over to you….
