If the past 18 months has taught us anything it’s the power of friendship and family. And when Jen + Frank couldn’t go ahead with their 2020 wedding as they had envisaged they decided to elope and were good enough to invite me along. You can relive that beautiful and sweet afternoon HERE

BUT thankfully exactly 1 year on from that date they got to invite all their friends and family along for a celebration. Another wedding.

And thankfully they again asked me to be their wedding photographer and it was just as special BUT with the added bonus of everybody who couldn’t make that day last year.

Here’s their highlights……

a groom f his wedding at Hoxton Arches in London a bride and her dad toast with champagne on the morning of her wedding a groom helps his bride into her Wedding dress

Last year Jen had worn the very dress her Mum had made and worn at her own wedding in 1974. This time Mum was there and again made Jen’s wedding dress, this time specifically for the day. And I got to capture Frank helping Jen dress for the second time in exactly the same spot exactly one year later. Such a privilege.

Having completed all the “official” paperwork last year J+F had the freedom to completely design their ceremony in any way they planned. They chose a Humanist ceremony conducted by the lovely Ed Petrie and even added a “proper” proposal moment (which had never actually happened first time around)

I honestly cant recommend Humanist,  Celebrant lead weddings enough! Always so much more personal and relaxed and memorable.

From the moment I originally met Jen + Frank at Most Curious Wedding Fair, to the chats we had when the world turned upside down just 1 month later, to witnessing and capturing their mid pandemic elopement and finally spending that special day in a railway arch in East London surrounded by everybody they loved…They have remained positive and been the perfect example of how love still wins during these strange times.

And now the circle is complete I’m gonna miss them!!!

Thanks Jen + Frank for making me a part of your story and trusting me to capture it.
