Shooting weddings in unique and diverse venues is awesome. Shooting weddings in brutalist concrete art galleries is awesome. In fact it would be quite easy to just get carried away with the light and lines and art and almost forget that there was even a wedding going on. But there is so much more to weddings….

Bridal prep at Mum and Dad’s house. Mum making everybody tea and Dad doing the dishes. Putting the dress on in the front room you have spent so many hours just watching Telly. The local church that holds so much family history. The local kids that hang out to watch the Bride arrive. The half invited locals who always sit at the back just because every wedding matters. The pride on the Mum’s faces. The out of tune organist. The nerves. The excitement. The laughter. The love…

….it all matters.
