Getting married in 2021 proved to be a stressful experience…so to everyone who tried and succeeded then this post is for you. And for those who tried and failed then this post is also for you because I know [ after 12 years experience in this crazy world of weddings ] that a GREAT wedding is ALWAYS worth the wait!! I PROMISE.

But however complicated or confusing the build up has been, every wedding I was lucky enough to hang out at this year has been totally worth it. The smiles, the chaos, the energy, the crazy and HALLELUJAH the dance floors, all back like they never went away.

Weddings are special. Celebrating love and connection is part of the fabric of who we are..and never before (in my lifetime) has that been more important.

On a personal more braggy note I was delighted to be listed for the second year running in Pro Photo Magazines Top 50 UK Wedding Photographers and also even more delighted to be named as one of the Top 100 Photographers In The World (18th Globally and 4th in The UK) and Top 25 Storytellers (18th) in The World with TIR (The Global Documentary Wedding Photography Directory).

2020 reminded me of the power of Documentary photography and refocused me on that side of my work. So to be listed amongst the best in The World felt particularly satisfying and humbling!!

Enough rambling!! Here are some of my favourite wedding photos from the past year. Hopefully capturing the more colourful, chaotic, quirky and alternative side of weddings in 2021. Hope you like them!!!

So thats it. The rollercoaster continues…hopefully at a slightly more upward trajectory than over the past two years!! To ALL my 2021 couples a huge HUGE thank you for having me along. Your trust in my creativity and desire to walk down that aisle has made what could have been a tricky year TERRIFIC!!!
