ALTERNATIVE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY // LONDON // TRINITY BUOY WHARF

In between booking me to shoot their wedding at my favourite London venue and the big day itself, Ben + Leila added 2 new names to the guest list. Margot and Frida their beautiful twin girls arrived mid pandemic and mid wedding planning and although I’m sure the celebrations somewhat passed them by I always love to imagine them looking back at my images and seeing their tiny selves and Mum and Dad smiling ALL DAY LONG with happiness as they celebrated their wedding in a Lighthouse by The Thames.

B+L remembered me mentioning that their wedding day would be on my Birthday and arranged for the whole 120 strong wedding guest “choir” to serenade me with Happy Birthday during the speeches. They are that wonderful and welcoming and made me feel like a lifelong friend instead of a wedding photographer.

I also got to spend the day with Chris from the Wedding Arrangers, Lee from Shutter Box Wedding Films and a Brass Band. I can think of worse ways to celebrate another spin around the Sun.
