It’s no surprise to me that my year started and ended on the streets of London. Marylebone Town Hall back in February and Chiswick Town Hall in December. I will never tire of shooting weddings in London: Strolling with my couples like the streets are ours, compliments from strangers, beeps from van drivers, shooting portraits down dubious back alleys and using security lights and ATM’s as our “sunsets”

After a “limiting” couple of years 2022 saw me back travelling again with Weddings across the UK, France, Spain and even The Isle of Man BUT it’s London that will always inspire me the most.

Gus and Lucy embraced the London vibe: relaxed, fun, easy going. And they kept it local and personal. Their wedding, Their way.

We paraded from ceremony to party through the streets of Chiswick to the sounds of a marching band, dodging puddles and lifting those post Christmas spirits. We danced and laughed and drank to candlelight in the bowels of High Road House. Personal. Perfect.
