Unconventional couples always make my heart sing. By their own admission Mark and Heather break the mould of their professional stereotypes (law and finance) and like to do things a little differently. Like choosing Saltdean Lido as a venue for their wedding.

This was just the start of the many quirks that we encountered. A guests last minute decision to replace his reading with an hilarious yet slightly blue speech was equally entertaining for the reaction of the surprised and confused Registrar (IYKYK). And Marks own speech mainly consisted of a straw poll as to whether it is pronounced Lee-do or Lie-do followed by an explanation as to why Heather had walked down the aisle to a song about Heroine addiction.

All very slightly bizarre, but entirely the perfect day for the wonderfully assembled group of family and friends.

Needless to say I bloody loved it.
