Chelsea + Carl // Normanton Church // Belvoir Castle

Chelsea + Carl went all out on their choice of venues. I have shot at Normanton a few times before, it basically appears to float on Rutland Water and based on my experience the sun never shines. BUT. The heavy skies and gusty wind give it a character like no other venue in the UK. Add a cinematic castle perched high above the surrounding countryside and you got yourself one wildy romantic and beautiful winter wedding.

It’s days like this that prove you don’t need bright sunshine and blue skies to have an awesome wedding day. It’s days like this that explain why I choose to shoot weddings all year round: The light, the intimacy and the all over ambience of winter weddings is such a welcome contrast and such a great match for my style.

C+C nailed it. Embraced it. Owned it.

And to top it all Leicester were and  *still*  are TOP OF THE LEAGUE!
